PT-MODEL PUMPS (INDUSTRIAL)

PT-MODEL PUMPS (INDUSTRIAL)

OVERVIEW

PT-Models are low pressure pumps with a combination of O-ring and gasket construction. Unlike the CD-models, PT-models do not have a replaceable cam or reversible sideplates.
>> Low pressure design with combination of O-ring and gasket construction
>> Mechanically sealed with cast iron seal seat
>> Four or six vanes and vane drivers (depends on the model)
>> Adjustable internal relief valve
>> Cam and sideplates are not replaceable
>> Suitable for petroleum products and industrial solvents

SPECIFICATION

>> Flow Rate : up to 263 gpm (995 l/min)
>> Working Pressure : up to 200 psi (13.8 bar)
>> Differential Pressure : up to 125 psi (8.6 bar)
>> Temperature Range : -25 to 300°F (-32 to 149°C)
>> Viscosity : up to 20,000 SSU (4,250 cSt)

CONSTRUCTION

>> Several pump sizes
>> Designed for low pressure applications
>> Four vane design on the PT20 and six vane design on models PT25 and PT30. Vane drivers on all models.
>> Gasket and O-ring construction
>> Cam is not replaceable and has no sideplates
>> Foot mounted design is used in both stationary and truck configurations
>> Mechanically sealed pump with cast iron seal seat
>> Available with NPT or Weld flanges
>> Drive options: Hydraulic, gear reducer, and V-belt

MATERIALS

>> Pump Casing and Heads : Gray iron
>> Cam and Sideplates : Gray iron
>> Rotor and Flanges : Ductile iron
>> Seal Seat : Cast iron
>> O-Rings : Buna-N and Viton® (Registered trademark of DuPont)
>> Blades : Advanced polymers

FEATURES

>> Self-adjusting sliding vanes maximizes pumping performance
>> Hollow rotor design reduces the weight of the pump
>> Removing the pump head gives full access to the internals without disturbing the piping
>> Can handle small amounts of vapor
>> Excellent suction lift is great for clearing suction and discharge lines
>> Comes with adjustable internal relief valve or optional air operated valve (AOV) for high and low flow control
>> Corrosion-resistant internal relief valve is made with nickel plated cast iron
>> Viton® O-rings are standard (Registered trademark of DuPont)
