COMPRESSED AIR & GAS FILTERS
Contaminants take many forms in compressed air and gas systems. Small particles of atmospheric dust not removed by compressor intake filters are concentrated during compression. Pipe scale forms over time by the interior rusting of air lines. Dirt and debris can enter gas lines from the well. Hot running lubricated compressors introduce hydrocarbons when lubricants break down. Over time these contaminants will wear out seals, damage sensitive instruments and pneumatic tools, foul heat exchangers & desiccant beds, and cause costly downtime. Put Van Air Systems filters and elements to work and see the difference that clean, trouble free air and gas make in your system.

MIST ELIMINATORS
The Van Air Systems Mist Eliminator is a special purpose coalescing filter for removing large volumes of oil and oil aerosols with a pressure drop of 1 psid or less. Minimizing pressure drop translates directly to energy savings. With a thick bed of glass fiber, the Mist Eliminator element facilitates self-cleaning by continuous draining. Contaminants are trapped at various stages within the fiber bed, not only at the surface. This prevents clogging and keeps pressure drop low.
Features & Benefits
- Removes bulk liquids and oil aerosols from compresses air systems
- Low pressure drop
- 10 year element life
- Protects downstream equipment
- ASME code stamped housing
Applications
- Chemical processing
- Petrochemical
- Refining
- Iron and steel production
- Automotive
- Mining
